Let’s Play Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation PT2 – Mecha Otaku: Ryusei Date

In this episode, Elzam wraps up Episode 1. Another bug appears and Elzam decides to catch it alive to be studied later. This concludes Episode 1 of Ryusei’s Route. Beginning Episode 2, this game gives you one hell of a backstory, so I’ll let you read it for yourself. We then meet two friends, Ryusei Date and Kusuha Mizuha. Ryusei’s one HUGE mecha fanboy and otaku, having won the privilege to compete in the Burning PT nationals, a gaming tournament. Kusuha’s one of Ryusei’s best friends. She’s just a slightly reserved girl who enjoys Ryusei’s ramblings. Together, they go to see Ryusei’s mother, Yukiko Date, who’s being treated in a hospital. Ryusei decides that he wants to ignore college to find a job and raise money for his mother’s hospital bills, but Yukiko asks him to perish the thought. Later on, Ryusei goes to the Burning PT nationals and aces it without question. Meanwhile, two people are monitoring him outside. These two being Ingram Prisken and Aya Kobayashi. Things seem to go well when more of the bugs show up. Ingram deploys a vacant Gespenst TT and watches as Ryusei, instinctively, jumps into the pilot seat and take matters into his own hands. We get to watch him go nuts.

In some instances, you are forced to use characters in certain mecha for a while. For the most part, just select a mech and go to Assign Pilot.
how do I switch mecs in this game? Im playing as Kyosuke and I just got done the lvl where you first use the Alteisen but prior to this I upgraded his Gespenst Mk2 and I want to put Excellen in it but cant so if anyone can help please do.

I dunno if you guys think the same But there is this face Ryusei makes which just looks disgusting.

Also… Ingram… The guy’s awesome. As well as his mech… XD
Yea I uesally keep them in the R-units too. Before that though I put Ryusei in Prisken’s mech, Keep Rai in the Shultzwald to make use of his Hit and Away skill, and Aya in the Ruabiter so she won’t die as easliy, Aya always sucked for me.
Once they get their R-Series, they’re staying in them. Until then, it’s fair game.
I dislike Aya and Ryusei untill they get their better mechs, I dont like the Type TT Gespenst, no Jet Magnum……..You gonna keep them in their respected PT’s or are you gonna change it up?
