Doctors: Health system is broken, it’s time to fix it.

By DerrikKyle on March 5, 2010, 4:27 pm

“Tragic” is one of the words used by doctors gathered at the White House to describe the current state of our health care system. People who need care can’t get it because they can’t afford it. Video provided by The White House

The problem is easily fixable without ANY costs or ANY taxes with HR 676….your joking right? HR676 will cost a fortune to the middle class who are already over taxed for the slackers.

Stop blaming government on these boards. The issue needs to be framed as the People vs. the Insurance companies. Government is the only means by which people have to represent themselves. Sometimes I think people in the United States would support the privatization of congress because the vested interests tell them it would good for them. The problem is easily fixable without ANY costs or ANY taxes with HR 676. The “blue dog” Democrats are the ones blocking it (aka Baucus & company)

Your right there are people who are not slackers and they are hurting due to the ecomony. But there are many who don’t want to pay for healthcare even though they can afford it and then there are people who just keep taking from us hard working middle class because they are too lazy to work. I cannot afford another tax increase. My wife and I have been working our tails off just to stay above water. The way Obama is going I will have to work 2 jobs just to survive and I am already exhausted.

Well jwv651 , there are good Americans who have no health insurance because they cannot afford it! They lost their jobs, they can’t find a job to hire them or they are working at a job that does not provide them health benefits! They even were denied from health care. These people are NOT slackers; they are human beings who are hurting. Look at the death rate in the US due to lack of good health care.

I work my ass off just to stay ahead. And I’m tired of carrying people who don’t want to get up at 4.30am come home at 6pm like I have for 32 years. I travel 2.5 hours a day to go to work and back.I did everything right, I served my country, I’m helping my 3 kids go to College and I am exhausted. I am sick and tired of all these slackers. This health care reform is for the slackers and all it will do for us hard working middle class people is add more taxes.

    Progress isn’t a government option.

  7. JohnRLange says:

Hey, easy on the name-calling. We’re not going to make progress if we’re making enemies instead.

  8. Blockygraphics says:

lol. Fucking libturds are the only fools who fall for this. And we get this video because those fucking fools are jackasses.

The video poster writes “doctors gathered at the White House to describe the current state of our health care system” when it was Obama supporters and donors in reality.

Lies by omission are still lies. Funny how liberals don’t give a fuck about lying to the American public? That’s to be expected by those assholes.

  9. Blockygraphics says:

But Obama can get together a bunch of campaign donors and promote them as if they are only there to support his health care program instead of liberal politics!!!! Who cares that only 1/3rd support it? Obama and Rahm are going to make it seem like everyone supports it except the “evil republicans”!!

We must take a stand against thoes who are standing in the way of REAL health care reform. I have some new petitions as well as many other ways you can get involved in the comment section of my profile. Thanks.

Something to remember about national healthcare: You are already paying for it, you’re just not getting it.

  12. JohnRLange says:

We need a 5-year transition out of the non-taxed status of health insurance for employers, and transfer the tax benefit to individuals so they may purchase health insurance on their own, the same way they do all other insurance in their life. Employers don’t want to provide this.

Then employers could contribute to HSAs the same way they contribute to IRAs/401(k)s. This is the only long-term solution for the health care mess.

The current configuration caused most of the problems we see today.

  13. JohnRLange says:

Medicare is not a success. It costs ~$10,000/year for each senior citizen, even if they have $0 in medical costs. And it is/is going broke. That, I guess, in government, is a success.

Also, I think only 1/3 of all doctors belong to the AMA. Interesting.

Wait until you are diagnosed with cancer or some other terminal illness. Then maybe, maybe you will aquire some empathy for your fellow man.

  15. nomosocialists says:

All Obama contributors and supporters. I wonder if they got to keep the white coats the White House handed out.

    Kill the “AMA” ,
    Reform drug patent laws
end Fed Gov. regulations in medicine
